[NOVEMBER 2011]

[17.11.2011 / 7pm]

ÜBER ALLES ANDERE [01]

"ÜBER ALLES ANDERE" (About Everything Else) is a salon-like-event in which we presented pieces and bits that we found and that deal with the "Alles Andere". We collected ideas and expectations and created an open space for collective thinking about this phenomenom of the "Everything Else".

With pieces by Jutta Altenstein, Rieke Anders, Oliver Breitenstein, Ilse Ermen, Reiner Görß, Herbert Grönemeyer, Laura Klatt, Christin Lahr, Jürgen Olbrich, Stefan Riebel, Marion Ritzmann, Røyksopp, Isabelle von Schilcher, Sophie Schmuckemeier and Alisa Vostiklap

With this evening we were officially introducing the Abteilung für Alles Andere.

30 mins - sections (I-II-III) / musical interventions (solo violin)

If there is no such thing as the important, it is important that that which is unimportant - i.e. everything - is not made important. For if the unimportant - everything - is made important, then the unimportant is no longer unimportant.

Lisa Jeschke & Lucy Beynon have been collaborating since 2007. Based in Berlin between 2008 and 2011, they now work in Cambridge and London. "Their work incarnates a very rare and exciting mode of live performance which is at once art and entertainment [...] enlivened by a relentless openness to risk." (Cambridge Literary Review, Easter 2010)
